According to municipal officials, this project is of exceptional importance to the local community. It is designed to permanently resolve the housing status of eight families who suffered significant material losses during the natural disasters. The Municipality of Jablanica secured the land and obtained all necessary construction permits to ensure the project could move forward without delay.
The Federation (FBiH) entity Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees is serving as the project implementer, managing funds provided by the United Arab Emirates. The Ministry oversaw the complete tender process, including the selection of the contractor and supervisory bodies. The total contracted value of the project is 1,073,273 Bosnian marks (approximately €548,753), which will cover the construction of a building featuring eight modern residential units.
The construction work will be carried out by the firm "GPI" d.o.o. Konjic, while professional supervision will be managed by "Radis" d.o.o. Istocno Sarajevo. The deadline for the completion of all works is set at 300 days.
Municipal representatives noted that the realization of this project continues the ongoing effort to support citizens affected by natural disasters, with the ultimate goal of ensuring a safer and higher quality living environment for those most in need.
