In the past 24 hours Croatia has registered 759 new cases of COVID-19 while 43 people have died from the disease, the national COVID-19 response team said on Tuesday.
The number of active cases at the moment is 4,903, including 2,048 hospital patients of whom 185 are on ventilators.
Since 25 February, when the first case was registered in Croatia, there have been 220,982 registered cases of the novel coronavirus and 4,446 people have died as a result. A total of 211,633 people have recovered from the infection, including 789 in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 18,381 people in self-isolation.
To date a total of 1,087,992 people have teen tested for the virus, 7,074 of whom were tested in the past 24 hours, the national COVID-19 response team told a regular press conference.
