Over the last 24 hours, 27 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 21,163 tested, 6,249 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
To date, COVID-19 has claimed 7,575 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.92 percent.
Currently, 3,057 people are in hospitals, 142 of whom are on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 5,262,447 people have officially been tested, and 823,161 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
