There have been 8,266 new coronavirus cases in Croatia in the last 24 hours, and 48 more COVID patients have died, bringing the COVID-related death toll to 14,632, the country's COVID crisis management team reported on Wednesday.

There are 32,170  active cases, including 1,966 hospitalised patients, 140 of whom are on ventilators, while 15,012  people are self-isolating, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Croatia has registered 1,027,572 cases of coronavirus, while 980,770 cases of recovery have been registered, including 2,885 in the past 24 hours.

To date, a total of 4,432,211 tests have been conducted, including 13,052 in the past 24 hours.

A total of 5,166,325 doses of a vaccine have been administered and 56.74% of the total population has been vaccinated or 67.51% of the adult population.

A total of 2,302,752 people have been vaccinated with at least one dose while 2,221,069 are fully inoculated, or 65.26% of the adult population.
