"The Government today, at a telephone session and in accordance with the Defence Act, adopted a decision allowing members of the Croatian Armed Forces to cross the state border in order to provide humanitarian assistance in fighting the wildfire in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the municipality of Prozor-Rama," the Government's Public Relations Office said.

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic had earlier spoken by phone with Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Kristo, who requested Croatia's assistance in fighting the wildfire, Hina reported.
