The BiH Presidency Chair, Zeljka Cvijanovic, with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York on Wednesday where they assessed that the cooperation between the BiH institutions and the UN is very good, noting the importance of joint action with the aim of overcoming the challenges with which is facing the modern world.

On that occasion, Cvijanovic informed Guterres about the current political situation in Bosnia, the process of forming the government, as well as the granting of candidate status for EU membership. She pointed out the importance of intensifying the dialogue between domestic political actors with the aim of implementing important reform processes and further progress on the European path.

As stated in the press release of the BiH Presidency, Cvijanovic expressed her full commitment to the preservation of peace and stability, as well as consistent compliance with the norms and principles of internal and international law by all relevant actors in BiH.
