Cvijanovic, Szijjarto: Hungary among biggest proponents of EU integration process

BiH Presidency member Zeljka Cvijanovic met on Friday in Banja Luka with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Zeljko Budimir, it was concluded that the relations between Hungary and the RS are excellent and friendly, and the cooperation is successful and very meaningful, Cvijanovic's office announced.

On this occasion, Cvijanovic thanked Szijjarto and the Government of Hungary for the concrete and significant support to farmers in the RS, as well as for their readiness to implement many other important joint projects.

During the meeting, she informed Szijjarto about the RS’ position regarding the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Presidency member underlined “the harmfulness of foreign interventionism and the necessity of intensifying the political dialogue between domestic leaders in order to stabilize political conditions and make further progress on the European path.”
