Daniel Serwer, a Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies professor, talked to N1, commenting on political developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, about possible return of Donalt Trump to the White House and how would this reflect on the Western Balkans as well as on the relations among Serbian and Kosovo leaders, and the future of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. According to him, the talks between Belgrade and Pristina are nowhere near the end, with both sides in the negotiations insisting firmly on their stands.

He deems that Vucic is serious about the matter of Greater Serbia, which he labels as the Serb world, and is determined to keep the control over the north of Kosovo.

What Vucic wishes to get in Kosovo is “another Republika Srpska,” said the expert, referring to a Serb-majority semi-autonomous region in Bosnia and Herzegovina established after the 1992-95 conflict, based on the international peace deal.
