Things have changed since 2018, Davor Dragicevic, the father of David Dragicevic who was killed under mysterious circumstances, told the media Saturday upon return to Banja Luka, after two years and ten months in Austria.

He said that he arrived in Banja Luka today for an international conference together with his lawyer Ifet Feraget.

“Dragan Lukac (the Republika Srpska entity Interior Minister) did not meet me, I was not arrested by the criminal part of the RS MoI. It is a recognition that that organization and that man (allegedly) participated in the kidnapping and murder of my son David,” he pointed out.

According to him, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH will soon start doing its job.

“Circumstances have changed, it is no longer December 2018 when they hunted us like animals in the centre of Banja Luka, when they tried to arrest us and tried to liquidate me. Now the time is on my side, on the side of the Justice for David Association, and soon I expect concrete moves by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

He claims that every day since he left, he worked on his return to Banja Luka.

“I have no fear at all, especially of those who committed that crime, and I know very well who they are. Circumstances have changed, we are on the move now,” he said.

Davor Dragicevic announced the formation of the political organization the Justice Movement, headed by Ozren Perduv.
“Next year, the Justice Movement will go to the polls in BiH, but independently. Everything that happened meant that we couldn’t be out of politics. We can’t leave our destiny in the hands of criminals,” he pointed out.

In March 2018, police found the lifeless body of David Dragicevic, 21, in a river near Banja Luka, the administrative centre of Bosnia's Serb-majority region of Republika Srpska (RS).

A few days later, a pathologist told the media that the cause of death was likely drowning and that Dragicevic had taken drugs. The press conference sparked a series of protests, especially since another autopsy performed on David’s body showed a different time of death.

Dissatisfied with the investigation, the citizens formed a group ‘Justice for David’ led by his father Davor Dragicevic, who swore he would pursue justice no matter what.
