A video of a border police officer beating a migrant at the Mali Zvornik border crossing between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina appeared on social media, Croatian portal Novosti reported.
The video, allegedly taken on Sunday noon, quickly spread on social media.
The Novosti portal managed to obtain the original video, which seems to be authentic, in which the insignia of the police of the Republic of Serbia on the police officers’ uniforms is clearly visible.

According to eyewitnesses everything happened in broad daylight when two migrants crossed the border and the Bosnia and Herzegovina police forcibly returned them to Serbia.
The Serbian police then brought them to a parking lot where they were brutally beaten. The released video was allegedly taken by passers-by with a cell phone.
The Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs responded to N1 questions about the video saying that its internal control department has already taken measures to establish all the details and circumstances of this case, and that, once the investigation has been completed, it will take all the measures prescribed by law.
