The President of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity Milorad Dodik reacted to the recent statement of Bosnia’s Grand Mufti Husein Kavazovic who said that "BiH must defend itself in state institutions - if they fall, we must be ready to defend the country with arms," by saying that "although the scandalous statement was made by Husein Kavazovic, the American Embassy is dealing with him [Dodik] again, and instead of a clear condemnation of Grand Mufti’s ‘calls to arms’, which would be a civilized gesture of an embassy, to everyone's surprise, we are watching the defence of his views".
“At the time when there was a terrorist attack on the US Embassy in Sarajevo 12 years ago, upon my call in which I expressed solidarity with the staff of the Embassy, condemning that terrorist act, the then American Ambassador in Sarajevo first said that it was not a terrorist act and asked me not to use that attack to deal with ‘common’ institutions. Even then, I realized that American policy is completely at the service of ‘Muslim’ interests in BiH, even when they are attacking the Embassy. In this context, I also see yesterday's announcement by the US Embassy on Kavazovic's warmongering statements, which even ‘Muslim’ politicians can defend,” Dodik pointed out. #related-news_0
The leader of the ethnic-oriented Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) who is also on the US blacklist for undermining Bosnia's stability and state institutions, uses the term “Muslims” to refer to Bosniaks, despite being told my many dignitaries that such term is offensive, dehumanizing and discriminatory.
He asses that the US Embassy “launched an open defence of the ‘first among the Muslim’ in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
“It's just that I personally think that they’re not defending Kavazovic, but the idea of an armed rebellion, which the ‘Muslims’ would carry out, with nobody else's, but American arms,” emphasized Dodik.
