Republika Srpska entity President Milorad Dodik made another public statement on Thursday, this time following a meeting in Belgrade with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. Dodik claimed that "Bosniaks from Sarajevo want an armed conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina."

"I am grateful to President Vucic for today’s meeting and his interest in stabilizing the situation. We believe that things in Serbia should be stabilized. Damage has been done by those who are blocking Serbia," Dodik stated.
He then accused Bosniaks in Sarajevo of seeking war.

"What I came to say is that it is clear to us in Banja Luka that Bosniaks from Sarajevo want an armed conflict in BiH. Their motivation comes from their decades-long efforts to take revenge on Serbs, believing they must eliminate every Serb who does not fit into their projections. Bosniaks have never accepted the original Dayton Agreement, unlike Republika Srpska, which has always supported it," Dodik said.

He argued that Republika Srpska had consistently upheld Dayton but that Bosniaks sought to undermine it.

"We have always believed that Dayton must be respected. Bosniaks never wanted to do so and now seek to deal Republika Srpska a final blow. Despite their obligations, they have never agreed to mark the inter-entity boundary. I see what is happening in BiH as purely political," he added.

Dodik also addressed his recent summons by the BiH Prosecutor’s Office.

"I received a summons from the Prosecutor’s Office to appear tomorrow at 11 am because I am suspected of attacking the constitutional order of BiH. We have made a decision that unconstitutional institutions cannot operate on the territory of Republika Srpska. I call on all Serbs to remain calm," Dodik concluded.
