The president of the BiH’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity said on Wednesday that RS representatives, Troika (People and Justice party, Social Democratic Party and Our Party) and the EU will meet on Monday to consider proposals for de-escalation in BiH, adding that the RS will not give up on its demands.
“Some people seem to come here just to offer trivial solutions. I feel that there are processes in the EU to use this crisis to give us a package for joining the EU as soon as possible. We agreed that on Monday the three parties will submit their de-escalation proposals. Of course, Bosnia and Herzegovina needs to ensure its territorial integrity, but its sovereignty is threatened, we’re just waiting to see what the foreigners will do,” Dodik said.
He added that the approach was offered, BiH as a country made up of two entities and three constituent peoples.
“We have proposed a draft, we have clear requirements from EU 14 principles. The Council of Ministers adopted it, but some from the Troika (Our Party) will not vote on it, and neither will we until the issue of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is resolved. When the issue of foreign judges is resolved, the Law adopted in the RS National Assembly will be repealed, until that happens the Law will remain in force. It seems to me that the partners in the Croat and Bosniak peoples would solve many issues more easily with the Democratic Action Party (SDA) than with them (Troika),” Dodik said.
He reiterated that there will be no war and once again contested the decisions of the High Representative and his legitimacy, repeating the old phrases about state property.
He then went on to insult the American ambassador to BiH.
A meeting of the representatives of the “Troika,” Milorad Dodik, the leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and the Director General for Europe in the Service for Foreign Affairs of the European Union (EU), Angelina Eichhorst, was held Wednesday at the EU Delegation building in Sarajevo.
