Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik set an ultimatum for his coalition partners in the state-level institutions, demanding among other things that ambassadors of the UK, Germany, the USA and the international community's High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina are declared “enemies of BiH.”

In his address to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Bosnia's Serb-majority region, Dodik set a request before the House of Representatives of BiH, noting that if it is not accepted the MPs from Republika Srpska will be tasked not to vote and the entity will start passing its own laws that were announced earlier. Also, he said, he would ask for the protection from Serbia.

Dodik demands that the decisions passed by the international peace envoy Christian Schdmit are annulled within a 7-day period and if it is not done Dodik demands that the House of Representatives passes changes to the Election Law, strips the Central Election Commission of power and confirms that the only place where laws can be passed is the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also, Dodik demands determining of the accelerated path to the EU, declaring the ambassadors of the UK, Germany, and the UK as well as the High Representative the “enemies of BiH” and expelling them from the country.

“If that does not happen, Republika Srpska will immediately leave the decision-making system, with our people staying there but not making decisions. We will break up the partnership with the political parties who are our partners and offer to other Bosniak structure, let's say Salkic's SDA, to make an agreement that would enable a new era,” said Dodik, referring to Ramiz Salkic, an MP in the entity parliament.

He then announced new arrangements in the structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a possibility.

“Republika Srpska will pass a declaration and confirm territorial integrity of BiH, but also the constitutional organisation of two entities and three constituent peoples. Republika Srpska will withdraw from the Indirect Tax Administration, the Armed Forces, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council and will through other agreements, activate the law on agency for medicines and other laws prepared in urgent procedure, and Republika Srpska will pass its own law on elections and adopt its draft today already,” Dodik added.

He also tasked the entity parliament to pass a conclusion and oblige the entity government to create a programme for modernisation and equipping of the Republika Srpska police forces.
