Bosnian Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik met with the Russian Ambassador to BiH, Igor Kalabukhov, Friday and told him that the Serb dominated Republika Srpska entity will not allow BiH to introduce sanctions on Russia.

After the meeting, he tweeted that “BiH has not imposed sanctions on Russia and Republika Srpska representatives will never allow it to do so.”

“An important meeting with the Ambassador of Russia, Mr Igor Kalabukhov – I reiterated that BiH has not imposed sanctions on Russia and that the representatives of the Republika Srpska will never allow it to do so,” Dodik wrote.

Dodik said earlier that BiH did not impose sanctions on Russia because the tripartite Presidency has not achieved a consensus on that issue, and that there will be no consensus as long as he is in the Presidency.
