Dodik's party spokesperson reacts to Rubio's message
The spokesperson for the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), Radovan Kovacevic, said that the "key message" from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was a call for a serious and constructive dialogue in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We also call for that, based on the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement. For thirty years, we have been calling for serious and constructive dialogue among the key factors in BiH,” Kovacevic said to RTRS.
He added that "the problem is that one side refuses dialogue."
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s morning message served as an “unpleasant awakening” for Dodik and the government in Republika Srpska. In his clear and unequivocal message, Rubio stated that Dodik's actions undermine the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and "threaten its security and stability".
In response, Kovacevic said that “those who opposed RS are the ones who wanted anything except for Donald Trump to win.”
“These are the people who supported Biden and Harris. They have never supported nor do they support the statements of Trump, Vance, and Rubio,” Kovacevic said, admitting that “a part of Rubio’s message didn’t sit well with him.”
Dodik has not yet responded to the statement from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
In recent days, he has expressed hope that the new U.S. administration, with Donald Trump at the helm, would change its policy towards BiH, and on the day of Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election, he organized a celebration in front of the RS Palace in Banja Luka, which was illuminated in the colors of the American flag.
