A new gathering in support of Bosnian Serb leader, the president of Republika Srpska entity (RS), Milorad Dodik, has been announced for this Friday at a different spot on the inter-entity boundary line, four weeks after the initial rally on September 1.

The gathering is held under the slogan ‘The border does exist’, hinting at the line dividing two Bosnia's entities officially called the inter-entity boundary line.

This week Dodik's supporters will meet on the Doboj-Tuzla road, in the northern Stanic Rijeka village.

The protest comes as a response to the indictment against Dodik and acting director of RS Official Gazette Milos Lukic over their refusal to implement decisions of the High Representative in BiH on the RS entity territory.

Since the first rallies that were held on September 1 at four locations, including Istocno Sarajevo, Bisine, Lopare and Dobo, Dodik's supporters have been gathering every Friday at different locations on the line dividing Serb-majority Republika Srpska entity from the Bosniak-Croat shared Federation entity (FBiH).

The protesters were carrying various banners with the most popular one reading ‘The border does exist’ but also the flags of Russia and banners with the image of Russian president Vladimir Putin.

EU military forces in BiH, EUFOR Althea mission, stated before they were closely following the security situation in the country, while the Office of the High Representative commented that there are no internal borders within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

All gatherings were peaceful and were secured by the RS Ministry of Interior.
