Drone show lights up Mostar ahead of Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series

A total of 500 drones lit up the night sky, creating a series of illuminated formations, including the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series logo, a Red Bull energy drink can, the Red Bull logo, an animation of a cliff dive, and the message "Thank You, Mostar."

The impressive display delighted residents, tourists and everyone who had the opportunity to witness it, the organizers said.

"Red Bull was the first to place its trust in us three years ago, and thanks to Red Bull we have now staged this show in Europe for the first time. A total of 500 drones were used, and we are truly happy with the performance. The audience certainly enjoyed it," said Muyasar Abulkhair, founder and CEO of Skyvertise, the company behind the drone show.

As previously announced, the first day of competition in the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series stop in Mostar will take place this evening, with the world's best cliff divers leaping into the Neretva River directly from the arch of the Old Bridge in honor of the city's traditional diving heritage. Warm-up is scheduled for 15:00, while the opening round of dives begins at 15:45.

On the second day of competition, Friday, July 31, divers will jump from purpose-built platforms, with the men's platform set at 27 meters and the women's at 21 meters.

The final day, Saturday, August 1, will feature the decisive battle for victory. Competition begins at 4:30 pm, and will be broadcast live on YouTube, Red Bull TV.
