Dutch court rejects Dragan Solak’s urgent legal request against United Group

United Group B.V. has confirmed that businessman Dragan Solak, through companies he owns and in coordination with former company management, has submitted a legal request to the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. The filing includes complaints over United Group’s decision not to extend Solak’s consultancy agreement, as well as alleged delays in payments to his affiliated companies, including dividend payouts.

According to United Group, Solak’s grievances serve only his personal interests, rather than those of the company. In his request, Solak also alleges a “serious governance crisis” within the Group and urges the court to impose urgent measures.
In response, United Group firmly rejected Solak’s claims, telling the court that there is no basis for treating the matter as urgent, nor is there any evidence of governance instability.
"The current leadership is more than capable of managing United Group," the company stated. CEO Stan Miller and Deputy CEO Libor Voncina are described as experienced executives with long-standing backgrounds in the telecom and media industries.

The Enterprise Chamber agreed with United Group, rejecting Solak’s request for urgent proceedings. A court date is expected to be set for October or November 2025.
United Group expressed full confidence in the outcome, saying it expects the court to reject all of Solak’s claims.
