The Chairman of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency, Sefik Dzaferovic, discussed the situation in the Western Balkans in light of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine with Slovenian President Borut Pahor at the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) Summit in Thessaloniki, Greece, on Friday.
The two discussed the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the country’s path towards European Union membership ahead of the EU-Western Balkans Summit that will take place on June 23.
Dzaferovic said that strong support for the European perspective of BiH would be an exceptional stabilising impulse for BiH.
The two agreed that the European and Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina has no alternative, and that the stability of the region is the cornerstone of overall European stability.
