The Central Electoral Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH) submitted a report to the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the BiH Prosecutor's Office against the leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and incumbent Presidency member Milorad Dodik.

The reason is Dodik's repeated verbal attacks on members of the CEC BiH, due to which, as reported, some of them “feel that their safety is threatened”.

CEC member Vanja Bjelica-Prutina, one of two CEC BiH members from the country’s Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity, said Tuesday that because of her work, she “fears for the safety of her child when he returns from school”.

The CEC BiH President, Suad Arnautovic, also said that he was being “targeted” because of Dodik's statements that he was “anti-Serb,” that he “considers the RS a genocidal entity”, and that he “will do everything to harm that entity”.
