Bosnia's top electoral authority issued a measure on Thursday, banning 24 political parties from participating in next elections because they failed to submit financial reports for 2021.
The Central Election Commission also issued fines in amount of 500 marks (approx 250 euro) for 75 independent candidates, who failed to submit post-election financial reports, following the 2020 local elections.
Also, the Commission ordered fines for the political entities who violated the election silence prior to the 2023 early election.
The Commission's decisions are not final and appeals can be submitted with the Bosnian State Court's Appellatte Chamber.
