The public enterprise emphasized that the Neretva hydroelectric plants operate within the framework of JP Elektroprivreda BiH and are officially registered as such in the court registry. Company officials noted that JP Elektroprivreda BiH was not included as a party in the administrative proceedings conducted by the City of Mostar’s Cadastre Service.
Consequently, the company has initiated all necessary and available legal actions, mechanisms, and activities to protect its property rights and interests within the Mostar area.
Immediately upon learning of the situation, PE Elektroprivreda BiH filed a request for an inspection as well as a request for insight into the case files. To date, access to these files has not been granted. Furthermore, the company has submitted formal requests for recognition as a party in the proceedings and for a return to the previous state of the records, pending a decision from the administrative body that led the process.
JP Elektroprivreda BiH stated it will continue to utilize all regular and extraordinary legal remedies at its disposal. The enterprise has called upon the administrative authorities of the City of Mostar to take immediate and appropriate action, acting in accordance with valid regulations and the principles of legality, responsibility, and the protection of property rights.
The assets in question represent a significant valuation within the energy sector, involving millions of Bosnian marks in infrastructure and generation capacity.
