Dissatisfied with the position of Serbs in the Federation of BiH, several smaller associations united in the Association of Serbs in the Federation (FBiH) entity, Tuesday, saying that the problem is their representation, work, and inability to access natural resources. “One of the most tragic things is the House of Peoples in the FBiH, it should have 17 Serbs. Sometimes there are 17 individuals, but half of them are either Bosniaks or Croats or someone else. You are well aware that the vital national interest of Serbs has never been initiated in the FBiH,” said one of the founders of the Association, Mile Marceta from Drvar.

The Association points out that their headquarters will be in the Federation of BiH.

“The focus of the Association will be on human rights and freedoms for the Serb people in the FBiH, those who are currently living in the FBiH, but also those who went to Republika Srpska entity or abroad, the protection of the identity of Serb people in the FBiH, as well as culture and tradition,” said Dusan Sehovac from the Democratic Initiative of Sarajevo Serbs.

The Association includes several associations whose focus is on the problems of Serb returnees to the territory of the Federation of BiH.
