The European Union Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina has condemned the threats coming from the leadership of BiH's Republika Srpska (RS) entity against state officials and reiterated that the practice of the Constitutional Court of BiH must be respected.
“We condemn repeated threats against BiH public officials made by the RS leadership. Such threats are unacceptable and must cease”, the EU Delegation said.
“The BiH Constitution is the supreme law of the country. Its provisions must be fully complied with, incl jurisprudence of BiH Constitutional Court”, it added.
The statement comes after RS President Milorad Dodik threatened judicial officials who do not transfer to entity-level judicial institutions and continue working in the BiH Court, Prosecutor’s Office, HJPC BiH, and SIPA. Dodik also threatened them with property confiscation.
