The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, is visiting the Western Balkans from April 7 to 9 in her first official trip to the region.

During her stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kallas will visit EUFOR troops stationed as part of the Althea mission. She is also scheduled to meet with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Council of Ministers Chair Borjana Kristo, and Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic.

Her visit comes amid ongoing discussions on Bosnia’s EU integration process and security challenges in the region.
