EU operational commander and high officials coordinate on security and upcoming 'Quick Response' exercise

European Union Operational Commander Lieutenant General Ludovic Pinon de Quincy, accompanied by EUFOR Commander Major General Maurizio Fronda, conducted an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina to hold high-level discussions focused on the country's security environment.

The military leaders met with Acting High Representative Louis Crishock and the European Union Special Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Luigi Soreca. The meetings served to exchange views on the current security situation within the country and the wider region, while reaffirming the European Union's ongoing support for local authorities in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
A central theme of the discussions was the necessity of close coordination between the political, diplomatic, and military instruments of the European Union. The participants emphasized that a shared understanding of the evolving landscape ensures international efforts remain fully aligned to promote long-term peace and stability.
