Bosnia’s state Court handed down a first-instance verdict sentencing Sabahudin Kajdic, nicknamed Sasa, a former member of the Army of Republika Srpska, to 12 years for crimes committed in 1992 in Prijedor, BIRN BiH reported.
Kajdic was found guilty of crimes against humanity committed between July and August 1992, as part of a widespread and systematic attack on the non-Serb population in the Prijedor area.
He was found guilty of persecution of the Bosniak population, murder, kidnappings and causing suffering to civilians.
