Under the current Instruction on the Method, Content and Deadlines for Submitting Notifications on Changes in Prices and Margins of Certain Products and Services, all gas stations are mandated to submit OPC and OPM forms to the Ministry for monitoring and registration. Between February 28 and March 4, the Ministry received 829 notifications regarding diesel price changes and 400 regarding premium unleaded gasoline 95.

The Ministry emphasized its daily monitoring of both international and domestic market movements. Officials reminded the public that the Government of the Federation of BiH’s decision to limit margins remains active. This regulation caps the maximum retail margin at 0.25 marks (approximately €0.13) per liter and the wholesale margin at 0.06 marks (approximately €0.03) per liter.

In coordination with inspection authorities, field reports indicate that the majority of fuel distributors are adhering to these prescribed limits. The Ministry stated it will continue to observe the situation and provide the public with timely updates.

Concluding the announcement, the Ministry noted that there is currently no reason for concern or market panic.
