FBiH Prosecution launches special corruption and organized crime unit

The establishment of this department aligns with long-term plans and a strategic commitment to strengthen the fight against the most serious forms of crime. Its purpose is to more effectively prosecute highly complex cases of corruption, organised and financial crime, and other corrupt practices that pose a significant threat to the rule of law and the stability of society.

Department to Commence Operations with Limited CapacityDespite ongoing public procurement procedures for material and technical equipment and the incomplete finalisation of the selection processes for all prosecutors and staff, the Special Department will begin its work with limited capacity. Nevertheless, the department will start accepting cases within its jurisdiction from tomorrow.
