FBiH seized asset agency transferred nearly 1.5 million marks to budget in past year

The temporarily seized assets entrusted to the Agency’s management encompass a broad range of movable and immovable property. These include three motor vehicles, 10 pieces of heavy machinery, comprising six excavators and four tractors with trailers, alongside two trucks. The real estate portfolio under its care features a luxury villa, a commercial and residential building covering roughly 1,300 square metres, five apartments, a storage unit, a parking space, and significant financial assets.

Alongside managing temporarily seized property, the Agency sustained its operations regarding permanently confiscated funds. Official data shows that between 1 October 2025 and 1 October 2026, the Agency transferred 1,496,673.91 marks (approx. € 765,248) directly to the FBiH budget.

These revenues stem from proceedings targeting assets unlawfully acquired through criminal offences, executed on the foundation of final court rulings. Transferring these sums to the FBiH budget ensures that the proceeds of crime are confiscated in full compliance with statutory requirements.

The FBiH Agency for Seized Property Management confirmed it will continue working to enhance the asset management system, bolster interinstitutional cooperation, and guarantee the robust execution of legal provisions to secure responsible stewardship over all assets placed in its care.
