According to the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Civil Protection Operational Centre, the fire near Konjic was active in the period from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Firefighters from the Konjic Professional Fire Brigade, employees of the Prenj Forestry Company, and Air Tractor firefighting aircraft took part in the operation.

The fire has been brought under control but remains active due to the inaccessible terrain and the large amount of combustible vegetation.

In the Mostar area, firefighters responded to nine incidents. Grass and low vegetation was on fire in Humilisani, Vrapcici, Sivadija, Laksevine, Mostarsko Blato and Gornji Vrapcici, while a tree stump caught fire in Franjevacka Street and waste and rubbish burned at the city market in Vrapcici.

Two fires were reported in the Capljina area, both in Trebizat, where vegetation waste, rubbish and grass burned.

Firefighters also intervened in the Citluk municipality, where grass and low vegetation fires were recorded in Medjugorje and Cerno, while rubbish, grass and low vegetation burned in Krehin Gradac.

According to the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Civil Protection Operational Centre, a total of 15 wildfires were recorded across the canton over the past 24 hours.
