Financial fallout: Bosnia forced to cover RS’s arbitration debts
Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is grappling with severe legal and financial consequences after losing an arbitration case to the Slovenian company Viadukt. The arbitration panel in Washington has ordered BiH to pay €40 million, with the debt increasing daily due to interest. If the payment is not made, Viadukt has threatened to seize properties of the Central Bank of BiH in Banja Luka, Mostar, and Brcko District.
