First results of 2021 census: Croatia's population estimated at 3.88 million

This is a drop in the population over the last ten years after the 2011 census, when the country's population was estimated at 4,284,889, when women accounted for 51.8% of the population and men for 48.2%.

In 2021, the population census took place from 13 September to 14 November and at the first stage of the census, citizens could self-enumerate online.
