Former Croatian President Stjepan Mesic wrote to US President-elect Joe Biden with a suggestion that Bosnia should be organized according to the civil, instead of national principle – which is contrary to what the current Croatian authorities stand for, Nacional.hr wrote Wednesday.

“Dear Mr President-elect, even though my mandate as the President of the Republic of Croatia ended 10 years ago, I still keep up to date with the events in the region and the world. I'm glad to see (from the news reports that your future administration will be paying a lot more attention to South-east Europe, especially Bosnia and Herzegovina. Finally!,” Mesic wrote in the opening of his letter.

The letter will be fully available in the printed version of the weekly Nacional, on Wednesday.
