The Municipal Court in the southern city of Mostar confirmed the indictment against the former director of Bosnia’s aluminium producer ‘Aluminij’, Ivo Bradavica, who stands accused of negligence.
The indictment, which was filed by the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) Prosecutor's Office on February 8, alleges that Bradavica “refused to consider two more favourable offers regarding the decommissioning of the Mostar alumina factory” which damaged the company because “a contract was concluded with a company that offered a lower purchase price.”
This produced financial damage worth more than two million Bosnian Marks, prosecutors said.
Bradavica was the director of the company between 2010 and 2013, and the activities he is accused of allegedly took place in 2011.
