Four major Sarajevo shopping centres, the Sarajevo City Center, Alta, Aria and Importanne received bomb threats on Tuesday.

The threats arrived via e-mail. This information was confirmed by the Sarajevo Canton's Interior Ministry Spokesperson, Mersiha Novalic.

“Immediately after receiving the report, the buildings were evacuated, both employees and visitors”, said Novalic, adding that a mine sweeping inspection will be carried out by police officers.

N1 learned that all bomb threats came from the same e-mail address containing the same content.

Sarajevo International Airport and one of the flights heading to Sarajevo also received bomb threats, yesterday, both of which proved false.
