The Croat National Assembly in Bosnia and Herzegovina (HNS BiH), an organisation made up of Bosnian Croat political parties aligned with the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH), called German MP Adis Ahmetovic, whose roots are from Bosnia and Herzegovina, a radical Bosniak unitarist after the resolution he proposed to the German Parliament was adopted Friday. The resolution states that HDZ BiH leader Dragan Covic and the Serb member of BiH's tripartite Presidency member Milorad Dodik worked on destroying the country.
“Today's Bundestag resolution regarding Bosnia and Herzegovina shows how much the German authorities do not know, or refuse to accept, the facts about BiH and the nature of its multinationalism and the equality of its constituent peoples,” the Croat National Assembly (HNS) announced on Friday.
Additionally, the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) association group of political parties said, today's resolution is “a de facto call for the destruction of the Dayton Peace Agreement, for which Germany advocated in 1995.”
The HNS maintains that “the model of federalism and institutional equality through legitimate political representatives is the foundation of the Dayton [Peace Agreement] and the only guarantor for European Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
“We suggest to all Bundestag representatives who supported the resolution proposed by the radical Bosniak unitarist [German MP Adis Ahmetovic], to send an identical resolution to Mr Charles Michel and the state of Belgium. We already know the answer to that,” HNS said.
