Helez calls for decisive action from international community in BiH

“OHR, EUFOR, NATO, and the European Union Delegation to BiH must take more concrete steps to finally resolve the crisis in our country, caused by the illegal and unconstitutional activities of the representatives of the authorities of the BiH entity Republika Srpska,” Helez stated.

Minister Helez informed General Valace about the activities of the Ministry of Defence of BiH regarding the adoption of the BiH Reform Program for 2025. The obligations of the Ministry of Defence of BiH in drafting the Reform Program for 2025 will soon be completed, and that part of the document will be forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH within the next fifteen days.

During the meeting, Helez and Valace discussed the recent visit to the Pentagon in the United States. The visit was assessed as productive and will contribute to the further strengthening of the Armed Forces of BiH and the improvement of overall relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States, according to a statement from the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defence of BiH.
