The High Commercial Court in Banja Luka has issued a second-instance verdict in favour of the Radiotelevision of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT) in its legal case against the Radio Television of Republika Srpska (RTRS). The Court dismissed all appeals, thereby upholding the original first-instance ruling.
The initial judgment mandated that RTRS must pay BHRT the sum of 5.4 million Bosnian marks (approx. € 2.76 million). Additionally, the Court ordered the payment of procedural costs exceeding 35,000 marks (approx. € 17,900).
In this specific stage of the proceedings, BHRT’s appeal had focused exclusively on the calculation of those legal costs. With the High Commercial Court's confirmation of the prior decision, a 30-day grace period for the fulfillment of these financial obligations is set to commence on Friday.
