In the rescheduled local elections in Jablanica, by 3:00 PM, 4,500 registered voters, or 51.56 percent, had cast their ballots.

“Everything is proceeding smoothly, and the election process is unfolding as planned. All polling stations opened on time this morning. The Jablanica Election Commission, along with coordinators from the Central Election Commission, visited all polling stations to assess the state of the polling places and the atmosphere. We can say that the election process is going forward without any issues,” said Sedin Lepara, president of the Municipal Election Commission, to FENA.

Lepara added that the voter turnout by 3:00 PM was satisfactory and that it is expected to increase further by the end of the election day at 7:00 PM.

In the Jablanica local elections, 8,828 registered voters have the right to vote. They are choosing from five party lists and ten independent candidates, while there are two candidates running for the mayoral position.

Polling stations opened this morning at 7:00 AM and will close at 7:00 PM.

The local elections in Jablanica were not held in October due to the devastating flash floods that struck the municipality on the night of October 3–4.
