House of Peoples to decide on Zenica Steelworks Bill after the approval in HoR of FBiH Parliament
A day after the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina approved the Bill on Nova Zeljezara Zenica (New Steelworks Zenica), the House of Peoples has also convened an extraordinary session on the same and sole agenda item for Thursday, June 11.
If adopted in the same text as approved by the House of Representatives, the law may enter into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
The Bill was proposed by the FBiH Government, which requested that both chambers consider it under an urgent procedure.
The House of Representatives did so yesterday during an extraordinary session, ultimately adopting the Bill with 70 votes in favor.
No lawmakers voted against it, while three abstained.
