Several hundred residents of Posusje, southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, lit candles in the centre of that town on Friday evening in memory of eight young people who died probably from asphyxiation on New Year's Eve.

The tragedy happened in a weekend cottage in the village of Tribistovo and the cause of death is most probably asphyxiation caused by a generator unit powered by gas.
