Hungarian Defence Minister visits EUFOR troops in Bosnia

EUFOR Commander Major General László Sticz briefed them on the ongoing security situation in BiH, Hungary’s time as mission lead and EUFOR’s assistance to local partners to ensure a safe and secure environment in BiH.

Major General Sticz accompanied the visiting delegation in their meeting with Bosnia’s Minister of Defence Zukan Helez and Chief of Defence Lieutenant General Gojko Knezevic.

The delegation also had the opportunity to meet the Hungarian contingent as well as to observe a static and dynamic demonstration of EUFOR elements; the Multinational Battalion, the Aviation Detachment and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team.
