An incident occurred in Sarajevo Canton’s parliamentary hall when a physical fight broke out between Harisa Zahiragic and another representative, Elvis Vreto. Zahiragic did not accept that someone was trying to calm him down, so he and Verto started shoving each other.

At one point, other representatives jumped in and calmed the situation down, while Zahiragic continued shouting: Shame on you!

The Sarajevo Canton Assembly adopted the Decision on the abolition of participation in healthcare, thereby invalidating the decision on the personal participation of insured persons in the costs of using healthcare and bearing the costs of treatment in the territory of the Canton Sarajevo, which had been in force since 2000, with changes made in 2003 and 2004.

After 12 years, the Assembly abolished participation in all services at all levels of health care, primary, secondary and tertiary, at the proposal of the Cantonal Ministry of Health.
