Inflation in Federation BiH at 1.9 percent in March, 5.2 percent year-on-year

Prices rose in the following categories: Transport by 13.5 percent, Alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 1.0 percent, Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.4 percent, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, Education, and Restaurants and hotels each by 0.3 percent, Health and Recreation and culture each by 0.2 percent, and Communications by 0.1 percent.

Prices fell in the category Clothing and footwear by 0.8 percent, while in other categories, prices remained unchanged on average.

In March 2026, compared to the same month in 2025, prices increased by 5.2 percent (annual inflation), according to data from the FBiH Statistics Agency.
