An informal group of Sarajevo residents held a short protest Monday with a message addressed to the US authorities to end support for Israel and stop further suffering in Gaza. The organizers said that war crimes against the innocent population are taking place in Gaza.
Ali Mahmutcehajic, one of the organizers of the protest rally, spoke to N1.
"We are sending a message directly to the US government, that their support for Israel is direct complicity with the war crimes and genocide that is happening in Gaza, with the bombing of hospitals, with the total blockade of Gaza, where the ordinary population lives. It is a war crime according to international humanitarian law," the organizer said.
He pointed out that the US should do the same with Gaza as it did with Ukraine, which is to show support.

He also said that one cannot be a hypocrite and dictate "who will be a human being and who will not".

We have come together as an informal group to send a message to the US government to immediately stop what is happening
in Gaza]," Mahmutcehajic concluded.
