Ukrainian MP Inna Sovsun spoke to N1 Thursday about the situation in Ukraine, obtaining candidate status for the EU, the dismissal of the heads of the Prosecutor's Office and the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as the speech of the first lady of her country in the US Congress.

She said the situation in the southeast looks somewhat promising, allowing the Ukrainian army to go on a counteroffensive. Sovsun could not tell the moment when the counter-offensive would actually begin because it depends on the continued supply of weapons from the West.
