Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina called for restraint from any form of aggressiveness and violence ahead of the fourth Bosnia's Pride March, taking place in the capital Sarajevo on Saturday.
Despite “disagreement with this orientation”, the Islamic Community said it condemns violence.
“Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina also expresses condemnation of any form of violence, which is also a sin, and is calling on Muslims to refrain from any form of aggressiveness and inappropriate behaviour during the event in our city tomorrow,” according to a press release.

The institution also recalled of the 2015 conclusion of the Council of Muftis, which says that “homosexuality is qualified by sources of Islam as a great sin, and that believers are called not to get close to it.”
Islam affirms marriage and family, encourages marriage and preserving of values of marriage, offspring and family as fundamental cell of human society, the statement said.
