Komsic and Becirovic meet with UK’s Deputy National Security Adviser

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zeljko Komsic and Denis Becirovic, held a meeting in London with Nick Catsaras, Deputy National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

The discussion focused on current security challenges facing Europe and the wider world, as well as potential avenues for enhanced cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom in safeguarding peace, stability, and security.

Presidency member Zeljko Komsic underscored the importance of continued British support in maintaining stability in Bosnia and strengthening the partnership between the two nations.

The meeting also addressed opportunities for deepening collaboration within the framework of the Berlin Process. Komsic highlighted the significance of the initiative for both Bosnia and the broader region, welcoming the United Kingdom’s role as host of this year’s summit and describing it as a positive development. He reiterated his consistent support for the initiative.

Nick Catsaras reaffirmed the UK Government’s commitment to supporting peace and stability in BiH, emphasising that the United Kingdom remains a dependable partner to the country in its pursuit of Euro-Atlantic integration.
